The Principal of J.R. Patterson & Associates LLC, Jeffrey Patterson, is an Enrolled Agent who is licensed by the federal government, and can represent taxpayers before all administrative levels of the Internal Revenue Service.
Unlike CPAs and attorneys, who may or may not choose to specialize in taxes, all Enrolled Agents specialize in matters of taxation.
Enrolled Agents are the only taxpayer representatives who receive their right to practice from the United States government (CPAs and attorneys are licensed by the states.)

Jeff Patterson has been helping clients navigate the complexities of tax preparation and financial planning since 1991. As the founder of J.R. Patterson & Associates, LLC, Jeff specializes in individual and small business tax preparation, consulting, and planning. His dedication to providing stress-free tax solutions has earned him the trust of hundreds of clients over the years. When he’s not helping clients save money, Jeff enjoys biking and riding motorcycles.

Business Development & Tax Preparation Assistant
Ethan has been an integral part of J.R. Patterson & Associates, LLC for the past two years, bringing a unique blend of technical expertise and a passion for client relations. During the 2023 tax season, he played a vital role in managing client documentation, preparing tax returns, and ensuring smooth communication between clients and Jeff.
Now, as the business expands, Ethan has taken on additional responsibilities in marketing and business development. He recently redesigned the firm's website, optimizing it to increase local visibility and attract new clients.
As an AFTR-certified tax preparer, Ethan is committed to building his expertise in tax law while continuing to develop strong relationships with clients. Outside of work, he enjoys rock climbing, playing golf, and photography.

CPA & Financial Strategist
With over 30 years of experience as a CPA, Frank brings invaluable expertise in tax planning, financial advisory, and business strategy to J.R. Patterson & Associates, LLC. After graduating from Villanova University in 1992 with a BS in Accounting, he began his career at a full-service accounting firm, mastering personal and business taxes, bookkeeping, and financial statement preparation.
Throughout his career, he transitioned into financial services, co-founding a Registered Investment Advisory (RIA) firm, where he provided comprehensive investment and tax planning services. Later, he established Fieldstone Financial to focus exclusively on empowering clients with unbiased financial strategies.
